First stop in your itinerary - 2-storied
Deri Baba mausoleum (15th century). Tourists will be offered
general sightseeing whilst in Shamakhi. After this, the
trip continues to the historic - architectural monumental
resort of Jahij, built in the 5th century in the canyon
of the river Girdmanchay up in the Caucasus. In Lahij
one can admire ancient mosques and bathhouses, medieval
water supply and sewage systems and a number of workshops
where it is possible to purchase artifacts such as jewelry,
copperware, carpets, pottery, daggers and iron tools.
